The calendar that is displayed is linked directly to the court's system. Unfortunately, it is common for users to not see any dates available. This can be due to certain individual judges turning their calendars off for online scheduling. More commonly, the issue is related to the Court not making enough dates available within its own system.
Generally, there are a couple of different steps to take if you find yourself without any options to select a hearing date.
- Cancel the filing and try submitting again in 30 minutes or more.
- If the Motion is in an accepted status, you can try to submit your Notice of Motion and leave the hearing date and time blank with a comment to the court explaining why. Oftentimes, in this case, after submitting the Notice of Motion, you can schedule the hearing date and the clerk will fill in the time and date on the document.
Unfortunately, this challenge is present across all electronic filing service providers and is related to how the court manages their calendars internally. Oftentimes the difference of a few minutes is enough to see new options appear.
