What is the InfoTrack Insights widget?

Understanding the data shown in some eFiling workflows

This feature is currently only available in Illinois Courts

Coming soon to additional jurisdictions.

InfoTrack collects data and insights about courts across the country. When eFiling with InfoTrack, you may see some of this information displayed in order to assist you as you submit documents to the court.

1. The Court name

Provided by the Court's system, this is the name of the Court into which you are filing.

2. The exact court address

Pulled from InfoTrack's database of courts, this will show the address of the courthouse into which you are filing.

3. Court review estimate

InfoTrack calculates the time from submission to acceptance (or rejection) for thousands of individual filings to aggregate an estimate of the time it will take for the court to finish its review.

Considering first at the case category level and then (if possible) at the document level, the number or range shown here is the best assessment of how long to expect before your document is accepted or rejected by the court. Faster or shorter review times are always possible.

4. Top rejection reasons

InfoTrack also gathers rejection reasons as recorded by court clerks from thousands of individual filings to understand the biggest issues that filers encounter when eFiling. After summarizing and quantifying these rejection reasons, we display the most common reasons in the current court so that you can better avoid making similar errors with your filing.

5. Experts say…

In some cases, subject matter experts at InfoTrack will have gathered additional information about the court, case type, case category, or document type that you are filing. If applicable, we will display that insight to help you make the most informed decision about your filing and case.

All insights are gathered and displayed with the best confidence of accuracy and applicability. Nothing contained in an InfoTrack Court Insights widget is intended as legal advice or should override your own understanding of court rules and requirements.
