How to place an order with InfoTrack through Clio

Connecting, filing, and syncing with Clio and InfoTrack

Once you have connected your InfoTrack and Clio accounts, you can begin placing orders, starting either from within your Clio account OR from within your InfoTrack account. 

Placing an order from within Clio

There are two ways to begin placing a filing, serving, or eSignature order from the Documents tab on the relevant matter in your Clio account.

Option 1: Select More actions at the top of the page, then click Launch below InfoTrack - eFile.

Option 2: Click on the arrow next to View on the document you want to file, then select Launch below InfoTrack - eFile from the dropdown menu.

Filing and serving from within InfoTrack

To begin placing a filing, serving, or eSignature from within the InfoTrack platform, select the Clio matter from which you wish to order from the dropdown at the top of the InfoTrack home screen.

Information from that Clio matter will be available in InfoTrack.

Accessing returned documents

Court-returned documents are saved in the Documents sub-tab of the relevant matter in your Clio account. After a filing is placed through your Clio integration, a folder is created for the court-stamped documents returned of each filing type. 

Open the folder to view the documents from the court, then click on the title to view the document.

Expense tracking

Court fees and filing charges are automatically saved on the Activities sub-tab of the relevant in Clio. 

A line item is created for each expense, auto-generating for the case, the order, and the filing. The filing will contain the cost that you can pass through to your clients.
